Fretfunk are heading to NAMM 2018......

This is no secret - we've been working towards this for a long time now.  But it's time to put the news out there.... Fretfunk will be exhibiting at the NAMM Show 2018!!! The show takes place between 25th - 28th January at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California.  It's the most amazing display of musical gear, musical people, music industry that you could possibly hope to see assembled in one place. How long can you keep a teenager outdoors in winter wearing only a T-shirt and jeans before he starts to complain about the cold?  Amazingly long as it turns out. We had great fun the other day taking photos of straps and strings in the streets around Fretfunk HQ.   We're working on two themes for Fretfunk products at the moment.  These are "Funky Gear", which includes our custom designs and unusual accessories, and "Play With Style", which is how we theme our colourful and distinctive accessories such as strings and straps.   We were trying out some different backgrounds to see how...

Is sheet music a thing of the past?

I was talking to a fellow musician at the London International Guitar Show. We were chatting about how best to learn new music, and how we read music during practice. We both identified with the bulging folder of dog-eared music printouts, where pieces are lost or end up covered in coffee or beer. We were pretty certain that we are we are not alone in this experience. The other day,  I was looking through some of the YouTube videos we've been in and I found this one.  I'm not sure if we've shared this one on the website before, but it's great to watch.
